About
I believe in the power of
being understood

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist practicing in San Francisco. My work is grounded in psychoanalytic and psychodynamic approaches, which means I am interested in the deeper layers of experience that shape how you relate to yourself and others.
I did not come to this work by accident. I have always been drawn to understanding what lies beneath the surface. What people say and what they mean are often different things, and the space between those two is where the most important work happens.
My practice serves individuals and couples, with particular expertise working with LGBTQ+ communities, men navigating emotional life, and people exploring ketamine-assisted psychotherapy. I bring warmth, directness, and genuine curiosity to every session.
I believe therapy works best when it goes beyond symptom management. Quick fixes have their place, but lasting change comes from understanding the patterns that drive your choices, relationships, and emotional life. That understanding does not happen overnight. It unfolds in the consistent, honest space between two people.
Training & Approach
My clinical training is rooted in psychoanalytic and psychodynamic theory. I am trained to listen not just to what you say, but to the patterns underneath: recurring themes in relationships, emotional responses that feel outsized, the ways you learned to protect yourself that may no longer serve you.
I also bring specialized training in ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, an integrative approach that combines the therapeutic potential of ketamine with depth-oriented psychotherapy for treatment-resistant conditions.
In session, I am warm but direct. I will reflect back what I notice, ask questions that go deeper, and sit with you in difficult moments rather than rushing past them. I do not believe in one-size-fits-all approaches.
Every person and every couple brings a unique history. My job is to meet you where you are and help you understand yourself more fully, so that the changes you make are genuinely yours.
What I value in this work
Honesty
Real change requires honesty, both in what you bring to the room and in what I reflect back. I will not tell you what you want to hear. I will tell you what I see.
Depth
Surface-level solutions create surface-level change. I am committed to the kind of deep, exploratory work that creates lasting transformation.
Safety
You cannot explore difficult territory without a safe base. I work to create a space where you can be fully yourself, including the parts you have learned to hide.
